It’s all been quilled down, unique threads of imaginations have created her own world, Flair’s World. Now the world is in me or I’m the world that’s upto your perspective but this world in me or me the world, doesn’t conceal anything, if you may not think so then my dear you didn’t read between the lines, you didn’t seek beyond the visibles. Oops it’s stormy outside, windows are rattling I might get wet, Flair, hop up the stairs though I can’t speak, still I hope she will save her world from letting it drown in the flood and there she is, huff, finally she closed the windows. Thanks Flair for wiping the water off my face and for the hug too. โAwh, my precious buddy, thank God I came up on time, otherwise my world in you would have been flooded with the rain drops. Let’s keep you safe on my study table.โ Did she hear me? She said the same thing, oh how can I forget she gave meaning to my clean slate and hence, we think the same. Enough of my words now I’m sleepy, what? aren’t you amused? Come on, I think too much. I get tired too, duhhh, besides it’s rainy outside hence it’s a sleepy sleepy ambience. Will see you soon. …
Wakey wakey, sorry my day doesn’t work like yours, my morning begins when the world sleeps because these writers love to come up with ideas, when the world is under their sheets. Let me pull up the curtains now and take you to Flair’s world, where nothing dies because nothing was ever born. One of her favorite towns is Mascot. Everyone wishes to visit here because it is the
town of good omen, anyone who comes here finds the answer to their badly knotted life but no one had the courage to do so because before reaching to Mascot, there is a place with no name which serves bad omen and tricks people so that no one ever reaches to Mascot and stays trapped in that dark place. If I talk about other towns, there is a town named Numen miles away from Mascot. There lived a girl named Saira who is 21, she used to work as a waitress in a cafe, she was a girl with big dreams but small luck on her side, still optimistic, which was the reason for the smile on her face and oh I forgot, her little brother Marco too, who used to wait for her every evening at home to narrate his whole day to her, though he was 17 but still little to her. One day when she was working in the cafe, she heard two women speaking about the place Mascot and the good luck it brings to people, later she saw a strange thing as one of them was magically stirring the coffee with her index finger little above the spoon, revolving anticlockwise. She was stunned, she asked herself, โdo witches exist?โ
After they both were gone she cleaned the table where the ladies were sitting and saw a note for her saying, โI know you saw me doing something unusual and heard both of us talking about Mascot, if you want to know more meet us tomorrow at 4pm at the town’s centre. Ps: do keep our secret.โ

The girl was quite confused, deep down she wanted to know more about the place and visit Mascot to fill her pocket with good luck. She wanted to unravel her knotted life. Next morning when her brother was packing up for school she told him about the note and the tale of the two ladies in the cafe. Her brother was fascinated by what she said and asked her to go and meet them.
Later she pondered that there’s no harm in meeting, besides she was curious herself to know more.
She reached the town’s centre at 4pm sharp but the ladies were not anywhere around. At the town’s centre was a mystical fountain and around it were benches placed. She sat on the bench and suddenly each of them appeared on both of her sides. The ladies started giggling and Saira just gave them a sweet smile. One by one they said, โHey I’m Laraโ, โI’m Roseโ and then she said โI am Sairaโ.
Rose said, โWell I didn’t think you would comeโ, โbut I knew that you wouldโ said Lara. โNo, actually my brother insisted and I was curious tooโ.
โOkay so let’s come to the point. First of all we are both witches and we expect you to keep our secret. Mascot is a place which fills the pockets of an ordinary man, with extraordinary blessings. Visiting Mascot is not easy, before reaching Mascot you need to pass through a dark place which has no name, which serves bad omen. Majority of people who have gone for the search for Mascot ended up being trapped in that unknown place. So, are you planning on visiting Mascot? โ said Lara. โWho on Earth would not want to visit a place like that but after the dark place you told me about, I need to think again.โ There was silence for a few minutes, then Rose spoke breaking the silence, โYes one should surely think, although if you still make up your mind someday to visit Mascot then we should tell you the loophole to get through that dark place. โDarkness will lead you to light as nothing bright there is actually right.โ That’s the loophole.โ Saira was a little ambiguous but something inside her was telling her to visit the place and to trust the witches. She asked, โHas anyone of you ever visited Mascot? โ They both said together โNo, as we believe there are many heavenly places on this planet other than Mascot.โ Saira quite agreed but she still had the desire to visit Mascot. They both gave her a goodbye gesture and disappeared in the thin air, the same way that they had arrived. Saira felt as if she was dreaming but she knew whatever she heard and saw was true. After reaching home she narrated everything to her brother and after some deep thinking they both decided that she should give it a try.
She packed her stuff and started her journey towards Mascot, with a map in her hand. Saira undertook a journey of 5 hours via train, to finally reach a town called Timber, which was the closest to that dark, spooky nameless place. She was carrying eatables and a tent with her,
therefore she didn’t stay at Timber for a night. She walked on and reached the border of Timber and the dark place at 6pm.
The moment she stepped out of Timber’s

border she felt a little low as if her energy was draining. That spooky place was not a town but a dense forest. As it was getting dark she set up her tent, after walking a few steps into the forest. Next morning when she woke up, it was brighter outside than usual, she thought that the sun might be at its peak but it wasn’t 12 noon yet and it was unusual to see so much light in a dense forest . The forest appeared extremely beautiful, she wasn’t feeling like travelling more but then she remembered the loophole and she realized that whatever was appearing bright was actually dark, hence she needed to find the darkest place in the forest, as it would lead her to the ending. She stood up anxiously and packed her things to start moving, when she saw an eye capturing group of people, she herself didn’t know why those people were appearing attracting to her. They were stepping towards her, the closer they came the brighter everything around her became and then suddenly she fainted. When she woke up she found herself lying somewhere in the middle of the forest and found it a little difficult to walk. She was tired of the brightness because the more the light she was coming across, the more weaker she was getting. Suddenly she heard someone screaming and the voice appeared to be Marco’s. She ran towards the voice hurriedly, gathering courage and strength, the nearer she got the less weaker she felt and at last she saw her brother lying on the ground with a wolf over him, she remembered what the witches told her and did not trust the situation, she ran deeper into the dark and eventually discovered the light she was seeking for, carving on a huge banyan tree on her right said โWelcome To Mascot.โ
Mascot was a town with no human beings but a living nature. The place was full of teachings in the form of paintings, sayings written on stones near the waterfall and many more. Saira learnt so many things there that she didn’t even know the writer of, maybe because they were the teachings passed on by space and time. She understood the good omens are nothing but the beautiful and guiding secrets of the universe, which help us take the right decisions and bad omens are nothing but our limitations, which we need to overcome and which we need to learn from.
One can only reach Mascot by transcending the Unknown.
